Certified DanceAbility Teachers: Level UP!!!

Hello DanceAbility friends,

Hope this finds you all moving to your heart’s desire. I was organizing a Master Teacher Training but I could not find a time that would work for those interested. So, I have a new idea. I am planning a video school for Danceability Teachers to become a Danceability Master Teachers. It is a very important time to transmit the DanceAbility method to more and many people. Because of the changing landscape in the politics of the USA and the world, we need to move forward with work that is essential.

Becoming a Danceability Master teacher can help you personally while spreading Danceability to more communities.

We are now beginning registration for the video school for the Master Teacher DanceAbility Training. With this certification you will be able to teach the 30-hour DanceAbility Intensive training. This training allows your students to teach DanceAbiIity without being a certified teacher. They can teach DanceAbility and say they are using the DanceAbility method. They will receive a certificate saying they took the 30-hour Danceability Intensive course.
 

The Program:

The Master Teacher Training Video School consists of 18, 2-1/2 hour classes, recorded from Zoom video teaching sessions in 2024-25. The classes consist of the  Danceability Method Teachings by me (Alito Alessi) and questions and answers about the teachings from the students in the recordings. There were 10 people from different countries in the Zoom classes that were recorded. The 18 classes consist of the following:

·       * Nine (9) videos of Alito teaching the DanceAbility Method (lectures + Q&A)

·       * Seven (7) videos of students teaching practice classes, plus Q&A with commentary and feedback by Alito.

·       * Two (2) wrap-up videos consisting of student Q&As, discussion and final notes from Alito.

Together, these classes compose a video library that you will study from and then always have access to in the future. Each video is labeled with its contents. There is much for information than can be listed. They contain the most in-depth information in the DanceAbility Method.

When you register you will be able to take the classes in your own time. Before you start, you will be asked by me to complete various written or spoken (if needed) tasks and to watch specific videos to facilitate your process. You will also be provided with the manual for teaching the DanceAbility 30-hour Intensive, and that you will pass on to your students that complete the class.

Once you begin you will have access to one class at a time. Classes are separated into Action/Response, Numbers, Follow/lead, Physicality and Touch and Variations on the Theme, plus the classes taught by the students in the videos. You will also be able to do zoom consultations with me regarding your learning. Consultations will be available after completion of each segment.

At the end of your training you will be assigned a section of the DanceAbility Method to teach via the internet. This class will be recorded for your future use. The students will consist of other Master DanceAbility Teachers and Trainers. You will also have a feedback session with myself and other Master Teachers and Trainers who attended the class.

Tuition:

The cost for the on line training will be $3,000 US.

There will be possibilities to create payment plans that can help you to do the Master Teacher training. We will have a deposit to begin and a payment plan agreement for each person who needs one.

Requirements:

The requirements for doing the training are:

You must have taught 75 hours of DanceAbility Courses.  After registration you will view a 10 minute video about DanceAbility and a 20 minute Tedx video about Danceability.

You will also receive several documents.

1. Professional guidelines for Master Teachers

2. Two Master Teacher Training Manuals with curriculum and teaching information needed of 100+pages . One is the Master Teachers Manual and one is a condensed manual that you teach from and give your students.

3. A copy of the DanceAbility License and Contract agreement to sign for certification completion. The contract agreement goes over license and contract fees for DanceAbility for the future 25-30 hour intensives you will produce. After reading the contract, if you need clarification please ask.
You will also receive a certificate of completion.

4.After this training your options to make money can increase significantly as you are certified to teach the 5 Day Intensives. Usually you can charge from $250 to $450 per person for the 30 hour training. So for example, if you have ten people at $300 per person you can make $3,000. If expenses to produce the event were $800 you would make $2,200 for the 30 hour training. I usually have 12-25 people per training. Each intensive you produce has an agreement with DanceAbility International as per licensing and contract agreement. That agreement will be sent to those who are interested.
